Shark And Human Teeth are Very Similar!

Fun fact of the day for all of Charlotte Dental Arts’ vacationing patients!  Human teeth are just as hard as shark’s teeth!  Even though your teeth are largely composed of a mineral softer than that found in sharks, new tests reported in the Journal of Structural Biology suggest that they're just as tough. The big differences are in feeding strategies—mako sharks rip flesh from their prey, tiger sharks have a cutting bite, and humans largely depend on serrated knives to cut up their fresh meat!
